Join us on Sunday 22 September to celebrate the sixth year of the Youth Parade!
The parade will take place from Old Dagenham Park to Parsloes Park, starting at 1:30pm and finishing at 4:30pm.
The parade commemorates the borough's inspirational young people and how they positively contribute to Barking and Dagenham.
Events and activities will include lining the streets and cheering on the parade, joining the celebratory event at Parsloes Park, music, dance, free inflatables, rides and food!


After Party

From 4:30pm onwards we will wrap up all celebrations with an after party hosted by Sir Ashley J and headlined by BBC's Greatest Dancer finalist Frobacks and UK Rapper Gen. Also featuring vocals from Summa Taylor and MEGAMiKES and dance from Myself UK, New MovementzUK and 3Style Fridays.


FroBacks are the world’s most unique dance act. Wowing audiences on BBC One’s new prime time television show ‘The Greatest Dancer’. They combine elements of character-driven comedy with slick dance moves – _all set to feel good songs.


Hailing from the border of East London/Essex, Gen is undoubtedly one of the most lyrical and versatile rappers in the UK. Co-signed by his idol Ghetts, Gen focuses on making a stamp not just in the UK music scene, but worldwide.


Talking Drum are a vibrant world percussion group who perform exhilarating rhythmical roots music from Africa, Brazil and Cuba.


Myself UK is an all-female dance collective lead by Kloe Dean. They promote empowerment through hip-hop, funk and urban dance styles under the ethos ' I ♥ Myself '.


Summa Taylor is a singer born and raised in Dagenham. She is currently working on an EP ‘Burning Bridges’.
