Assistant Theatre Director (Community) Merchant of Venice, Studio 3 Arts

Studio 3 Arts is looking for an outstanding Assistant Theatre Director (Community Company) for our forthcoming promenade production of Merchant of Venice to take place in Barking town centre early July 2016. You will support Angela Michaels, our Director, and work specifically with our Community Company in rehearsal to prepare them for the production, and take responsibility for the smooth integration of the Community Company with the professional cast and crew.

Community Engagement Manager: Merchant of Venice, Studio 3 Arts

Studio 3 Arts is looking for a brilliant Community Engagement Manager for our forthcoming promenade production of Merchant of Venice directed by Angela Michaels to take place in Barking town centre in early July 2016. The successful person will have considerable experience of supporting individuals and community groups to participate in arts projects, often for their first time, and in this case specifically theatre. For this particular project you will be required to engage and support a number of local individuals to perform roles in the play alongside 8 professional actors, and enable local community groups to be part of the ensemble/crew for the production.

Producer: Merchant of Venice, Studio 3 Arts

Studio 3 Arts is looking for an accomplished Producer for our forthcoming promenade production ofMerchant of Venice to take place in Barking tow centre in early July 2016. Proficient in outdoor theatre producing you will be required to take the lead on: licensing; H&S; risk assessment; site logistics; contracts for actors and technical team; to lead production meetings and disseminate information; and be main point of contact for the council events team queries, and to compile a handover for the Production Manager.
