Community Matters
Community Matters is a 3-year programme of work designed to promote community and intergenerational cohesion. Delivered in targeted wards, the programme aims to empower excluded and disengaged groups and individuals to become active members of the community.

Community Matters
We believe community cohesion can be fostered through participation in community focused artworks and events. These art projects increase individuals skills, confidence and understanding whilst bringing disengaged groups and individuals together to work on a common purpose.

The Community Matters programme brings Artists from one distinct background together with community groups and individuals from another distinct background, sparking a creative dialogue about the issues that affect all their lives.

The Community Matters programme outline also includes a Volunteer Training Programme for people interested in supporting the delivery of Community Matters in their local area.

Community Matters
The artistic outcomes of this clash of cultures are always exciting, always original. Past examples have included personalised heritage plaques, comedy nights, and beer mats!
