Big Deal
Big Deal is Studio 3 Arts flagship programme for youth engagement. Big Deal uses high quality contemporary art forms to reach young people who are in need of diversion away from criminal activity, particularly those who are disengaged, at risk or hard to reach.

Big Deal participants work with top industry professionals from a range of artistic disciplines including drama; music production; filmmaking; street dance and set design.

Big Deal
The brief of the Big Deal project is to use top quality contemporary ‘urban’ artistic media to enable young people to socialise and work together. Through participation in and collaboration on street art activities we hope to tackle head on the very real issues affecting youth culture today.

The artistic delivery of the project is combined with a proactive youth agenda which encourages young people to engage with the issues relevant to them including antisocial behaviour; substance misuse; gang culture; knife and gun crime; sexual health and teen pregnancy; careers and the future.

Big Deal
The project is supported by the local IYSS and, Youth Opportunities Fund, Children in Need, Lloyds TSB Foundation and the Home Office Community Fund. Big Deal recently achieved a Gold Quality Assurance Award from London Youth and is featured by the National Youth Agency as a case study in cohesion.
